I’ve made editorial videos for years. I love the freedom they allow to explore creatively and although budgets are often smaller, editorial content can be liberating, eye-opening and a great way to test how well you know your audience.
I excel at finding the nuanced voice of a magazine, online vertical or brand, And, nailing the content. At goop, our strategy was two-fold: awareness and revenue. As CD at Hearst, I had 20+ magazines under my purview. At Popsugar, there were 9 verticals. Each had a unique voice, character, and editorial approach. The challenge of learning the voice and helping brands take their content to the next level fulfills me.
